Due to the use of advancement in technology and improved computer system,
the chief information officer’s responsibilities are increased. The efficient
and effective use of information technology can grow the business and change
organizational structure i.e., due to new and improved technology most of the
works are now digitized instead of physically buying and selling of goods and
services. He motivates all of IT Professionals and lead them in the right direction
in order to achieve organizational objectives and goals. He should maintain IT budget
efficiently and effectively for the better utilization of its resources with minimum

are crucial.
A chief information should also be innovative in IT field as with the
passage of time more and more new technologies are evolved and to meet market
demands, he must adapt to such change in IT world.

bottom level in the organization and managing day-to-day operations.
The option (C) is also wrong choice here as an Operational Manager sees and
manages the operations in order to improve profitability of the organization, which
is dealt at lower-level of management.
